Australian government proposes gambling ad limits and online keno ban

Regulation

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced proposed gambling advertising restrictions and an online keno ban in Australia, saying the measures aim to reduce children’s exposure. Responsible Wagering Australia said it awaited further details and criticised the lack of consultation.

The proposals could change operators’ advertising access and prohibit online keno in Australia.
