As.Tro has called an extraordinary meeting of its technical committee for 2 November at 16.00 to examine the provisions in the draft 2027 budget law, the association said. The meeting will look at the measures the budget introduces for the gaming sector, with particular attention to those affecting cash-prize entertainment machines and the related tax levies.
According to As.Tro, the meeting will open a first discussion among operators in the supply chain, examine the possible effects of the provisions on the sector and identify any issues, both on technical and operational grounds and in relation to the sector's economic sustainability.
The association said the technical committee's work will allow it to draw up an initial overall assessment of the measures and to identify, where necessary, the questions to bring to the attention of the competent institutions, including through specific proposals.
