A possible parliamentary timetable for Italy's 2027 Budget Bill has emerged, with first reading in the Chamber of Deputies expected to begin in the first days of November, according to informal sources. The indications have not been officially confirmed.
Under the reported schedule, the text of the bill should be available by Sunday 1 November, before being sent to the Chamber early the following week. Parliamentary hearings would run from Thursday 5 to Thursday 12 November, and the deadline for tabling amendments could be set at Tuesday 17 November 2026.
Mauro D'Attis of Forza Italia, Silvana Comaroli of Lega and Ylenja Lucaselli of Fratelli d'Italia are named informally as possible rapporteurs for the bill.
For the public gambling sector, publication of the budget text will allow checks on whether it contains measures on taxation, the concession system and other economic and regulatory aspects of the sector. The available information currently covers only the possible parliamentary calendar and does not allow the content of any specific gambling provisions to be anticipated.
The amendment window is also a stage to watch, as it could allow proposals concerning the sector to be introduced during parliamentary examination. The dates given remain scheduling hypotheses that have not been made official and may change depending on transmission of the text and the organisation of the Chamber's work.
