Armenia requires telecoms to block unlicensed gambling sites from February 2027
Armenia’s State Revenue Committee said telecommunications operators must block unlicensed online gambling and lottery websites from 8 February 2027 under revised gaming rules. The provisions also restrict advertising by unlicensed operators; the committee said the changes address the increased digital accessibility of offshore platforms.
Telecom operators and unlicensed gambling services will face new blocking requirements in Armenia from the stated effective date.
