Alberta projects CAD 76 million in first-year iGaming revenue

Licences & markets

Alberta expects its regulated iGaming market to generate CAD 76 million in its first year, according to Minister Dale Nally. The market is due to launch on 13 July; Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis said 47 operators had completed registration and paid initial fees by 26 June, but still needed to complete a separate process with Alberta iGaming Corporation.

Operators must complete the remaining registration steps before they can be ready for Alberta’s market launch.
