LeoVegas declines Alberta iGaming entry and focuses on Ontario

Licences & markets

LeoVegas told a media report that it will not pursue regulated iGaming in Alberta and will concentrate on its existing Ontario business. The operator has paused user sign-ups in Alberta, while Fanatics Betting and Gaming reportedly has no current plans to launch in either Alberta or Ontario.

LeoVegas’s decision removes one prospective operator from Alberta’s planned regulated market.
