Aichi Prefecture has launched a request for proposals as it considers an integrated resort bid in Japan, according to the report. The prefecture selected a site at Chubu Centrair International Airport; applications for the country’s second bidding window are due from 6 May through 5 November 2027.
The RFP starts Aichi’s process to develop a proposal for a potential Japanese integrated resort licence.

Brightstar Lottery COO Marco Tasso said the company aims to enter Austria as a lottery operator and technology supplier when licences are reassigned. The report says the proposed reform could take effect on 1 January 2027, with licence awards expected later that year; Brightstar is among several potential competitors.
Belgium’s Council of State suspended ECK NV’s Grand Casino Brussels concession in late August. The contract is worth approximately €750m over 15 years, running until 2041. The mayor awarded a 15-year concession valued by the Land and Economic Affairs Authority at 750 million, excluding VAT; Napoleon Games is due to take control on 1 January 2027.
FDJ United has formally expressed interest in Austria's forthcoming lottery concession, according to the report, joining Brightstar and IZI Group as prospective bidders. Austria's government has extended Österreichische Lotterien's current licence beyond its planned end in 2027 until the tender process concludes.
