The City of Brussels selected Napoleon Games for the Viage casino concession, reportedly after a process involving six operators. The mayor awarded a 15-year concession valued by the Land and Economic Affairs Authority at 750 million, excluding VAT; Napoleon Games is due to take control on 1 January 2027.
The award sets the operator and term for Brussels’ casino concession from 2027.

It was reported that entrepreneur Niklas Sattler hopes to compete with Casinos Austria for 13 land-based casino concessions. He expressed concern that bundling licences into large packages could favour the incumbent.
FDJ United has formally expressed interest in Austria's forthcoming lottery concession, according to the report, joining Brightstar and IZI Group as prospective bidders. Austria's government has extended Österreichische Lotterien's current licence beyond its planned end in 2027 until the tender process concludes.
Austria's new gambling law is under review, and the finance ministry is expected to tender new lottery licences in autumn, according to a report. Brightstar is developing a consortium, while another unnamed major bidder has formally entered the race; Casinos Austria and its majority owner Allwyn also have interests in the lottery business.
Superbet said it plans to invest about €500 million in Greece over the next six years, covering technology, staff training, sports sponsorships and marketing. The company estimated it held about 7% of Greek betting stakes and reported October turnover of €270 million, figures it said referred to wagers rather than revenue.

Blask’s September 2026 analysis put Brazil at 57.8% of demand for online betting and gaming in Latin America, despite a 5.2% decline in its regional share. The company said regional demand fell 0.2%, while interest in licensed Brazilian brands dropped 82% between 25 September and 1 October after the fixed-odds betting ban. Blask said its indicators measure consumer interest and brand visibility, not revenue share or active bettors.

Brazil still supplied 57.8% of the region's online betting and gaming demand, holding first place. The regional dip occurred even as 16 of the 20 markets tracked by Blask posted growth over the period.
