Brightstar Lottery targets Austria’s lottery licence under proposed market reform
Brightstar Lottery COO Marco Tasso said the company aims to enter Austria as a lottery operator and technology supplier when licences are reassigned. The report says the proposed reform could take effect on 1 January 2027, with licence awards expected later that year; Brightstar is among several potential competitors.
