FDJ United has formally expressed interest in Austria's forthcoming lottery concession, according to the report, joining Brightstar and IZI Group as prospective bidders. Austria's government has extended Österreichische Lotterien's current licence beyond its planned end in 2027 until the tender process concludes.
The prospective competition could change which operator holds Austria's lottery concession after the tender.

Golden Palace announced a bid for the 15-year concession to operate Brussels’ Viage casino, which includes a gaming licence. The company said it would invest €30 million in redevelopment if selected; Viage and several other operators have also expressed interest in the concession.

Aristocrat Interactive has launched eInstant games from its NeoGames Studio with the Kentucky Lottery, with The Lamp the first title live on the lottery's digital platform. The supplier worked with Brightstar, the lottery's iLottery systems provider, on the integration. The Kentucky Lottery has generated more than $8bn in total earnings for the state since its 1989 launch, according to the company.

FDJ United lowered its annual targets after Q3 2026 revenue fell 8.1% to €794m, with gaming revenue down 6.1% at €1.95bn. The group cited higher taxes in France, the UK and the Netherlands, costing €63m in the first nine months.
