AGLC sets 13 July deadline for Alberta iGaming applications

Licences & markets

Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis said applicants for the province’s iGaming market must submit completed applications and pay fees by 13 July 2026. Its guidance also sets that date for unregulated operators to stop taking bets, while allowing a possible case-by-case grace period of up to three months; the market’s launch date remains unconfirmed.

Applicants and existing operators face a common deadline for registration and ending unregulated betting, with limited possible extensions.
