Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario says lottery retailers must follow sales standards, including restrictions that took effect on 1 June 2012. Retailers must not sell tickets to people who appear intoxicated or to specified gaming, retail, supplier and AGCO personnel.
Lottery retailers must apply the stated sales restrictions to avoid selling tickets to prohibited customers.
