AGCO outlines renewal and change rules for Ontario lottery sellers

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) says lottery sellers can renew registrations and submit changes through its iAGCO portal. Sellers must notify the regulator of address changes within five days, and they need the Registrar’s permission before changing company officers, directors or shareholders.

Lottery sellers must meet renewal and notification requirements to keep registrations current and make permitted changes.

AGCO updates cannabis penalty schedule after Ontario store-hours change

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) said updates to the cannabis penalty schedule took effect on 10 August 2026. The changes reflect rules effective from 1 May that allow cannabis retailers to open at 7 a.m., rather than 9 a.m.; the schedule was established by the AGCO board and approved by Ontario’s Attorney General.
