Italy’s Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) updated its list of unauthorised gambling sites and ordered 61 more sites blocked, according to the report. The report says 1,047 sites have been blocked in 2026 and 12,699 in total; the latest blocking measures are due by 9 October.
Operators serving Italy must account for the latest blocking orders and the stated deadline for implementation.

Brazil’s federal government issued an interim measure signed by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva that orders betting sites and apps to become unavailable from 6 October and bans gambling advertising. The measure also restricts betting transactions through banks and payment services, while some rules require further regulation before full implementation.
Brazil’s justice and finance ministries said on 27 September that authorities had identified and blocked 506 sites suspected of offering illegal betting. Monitoring cited in reports recorded 428 new illegal platforms between the decree’s announcement and 27 September, while a separate count found 415 new domains and a rise in monitored unauthorised pages from 295 to 710. The decree bars fixed-odds betting and online games, with authorised operators’ sites due to become inaccessible from 6 October.
Ukraine's government accepted PlayCity chair Gennadiy Novikov's request to leave his post, he said while outlining the agency's work. During his tenure, PlayCity issued 376 licences, bringing nearly UAH2.5bn to the state budget, and blocked more than 15,600 unauthorised gambling sites, according to Novikov's account.
Brazil’s Ministry of Justice and Public Security ordered 43 Telegram groups and channels promoting online betting blocked on 27 September, according to the report. The Cyber Operations Laboratory identified 212,634 members across them; authorities also found promotions for an unauthorised platform and claims of monthly returns of up to 260%.
Lithuania’s gambling regulator ordered internet service providers to block Polymarket after deeming its products illegal gambling, the regulator said. It also directed payment providers to stop transactions with the platform, following court approval of the measure.
