Ukraine's government accepted PlayCity chair Gennadiy Novikov's request to leave his post, he said while outlining the agency's work. During his tenure, PlayCity issued 376 licences, bringing nearly UAH2.5bn to the state budget, and blocked more than 15,600 unauthorised gambling sites, according to Novikov's account.

Operators face continued monitoring and enforcement as PlayCity expands reporting and action against unlicensed gambling.
