Brazilian justice ministry orders 43 Telegram betting channels blocked
Brazil’s Ministry of Justice and Public Security ordered 43 Telegram groups and channels promoting online betting blocked on 27 September, according to the report. The Cyber Operations Laboratory identified 212,634 members across them; authorities also found promotions for an unauthorised platform and claims of monthly returns of up to 260%.
The action targets channels promoting unauthorised betting and signals enforcement against illegal-market promotion.
