ADM extends online concession system certification deadline to 13 November

Italy’s ADM extended the deadline for certifying the new online concessionaire system from 12 May to 13 November 2026, following technical difficulties reported by numerous concessionaires and verification bodies. The extension applies only to technical certification; existing obligations, including player protection and responsible gambling requirements, remain in force.

Concessionaires have more time to complete technical certification, while their other contractual obligations continue unchanged.

ADM extends slot disposal deadline to one year in Italy

Italy’s ADM said its Games Directorate changed the procedure for disposing of decommissioned slot machines in a directive dated 27 October 2026. The deadline has increased from six months to one year, and owners’ declarations now cover only game boards; owners must retain documentation for five years to evidence permitted handling of cabinets. The changes apply to machines decommissioned from 1 November 2026.
