The Gambling Board of Namibia (GBN) has extended the deadline for two technology procurement tenders to 26 November 2026.
The first tender concerns the Central Electronic Monitoring System, a centralised platform for the Gambling Board that is to be supplied, deployed and maintained.
A second tender, the Licensing and Document Management System, involves building and maintaining one integrated solution that automates licensing, workflows and documents.
Exclusive Preference now takes the place of the earlier National Preference provisions in the Board's tender requirements.
According to the Gambling Board, the changes aim to boost local participation, build domestic capacity and secure compliance with public procurement requirements in Namibia. Updated bidding documents supersede the earlier versions, and anyone planning to bid is advised to read the new requirements first.
