ADM block of Polymarket domain faces challenge at Lazio regional court

A dispute over Italy's ADM decision to block Polymarket.com is scheduled before the Lazio Regional Administrative Court on 16 December, according to reports. Eurobet Italia, Snaitech and other concessionaires are involved in the case, alongside Blockratize, a company linked to Polymarket. The challenge concerns the site's inclusion on Italy's list of gambling websites to be blocked.

The case will test the application of Italy's gambling-site blocking rules to prediction-market platforms.

Lazio Regional Administrative Court upholds ADM rules for online concessionaires

Italy’s Lazio Regional Administrative Court rejected two operators’ challenge to rules set by the Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) for online gambling concessions awaiting a new licensing tender. The court upheld stricter transition requirements for concessionaires that did not apply, including restrictions on new customers and steps to wind down operations. The ruling was published on 15 June in case 10972/2026.
