ACMA requests Google remove 57 gambling domains targeting Australia

Enforcement & compliance

Australia’s ACMA submitted a request to Google on 10 February to remove 57 domains it identified as allegedly offering illegal gambling services to Australians. Google’s Transparency Report separately records 41 gambling-related domains removed following a government request from Australia; the report says it is unclear whether these were among the 57 domains.

Operators targeting Australian users may face reduced visibility if Google removes their domains from search results.
