Wisconsin Assembly passes tribal-server mobile sports betting bill

Regulation

Wisconsin’s Assembly passed a bill by voice vote last month to allow mobile sports betting through a hub-and-spoke model, with servers located on tribal lands. The proposal would require tribes to renegotiate gaming agreements and federal regulators to approve the arrangements; the state Senate has not scheduled a vote. The Sports Betting Alliance objects to a proposed 60% revenue share with tribal partners.

The bill’s server-location and revenue-sharing terms could shape market access for tribes and commercial operators.
