Wildz Group says Altenar supplied its sports betting platform from 2024

Wildz Group, whose main business is online casino, expanded into sports betting in 2024 and uses Altenar as its sports betting platform provider, according to a press release. The company chose a tailored product rather than a standard pre-built solution, the release said.

The platform includes a personalised "Apuesta del día" feature, Bet Builder, a cash-out option, daily live broadcasts and personalised odds boosts, the release said. Trading specialists dedicated to the Nordic market supported the offer, aligning it with local preferences and the sports competitions of interest in the region, according to the release.

Altenar's structured integration process supported the launch while the operator's casino experience was kept intact, the release said. The release reported betting volumes of several million euros month after month and sports betting margins in double digits on a consistent basis.

During periods of higher sports activity, the number of unique active players rose by more than 100% over two months and new customer acquisition grew by close to 150% from one month to the next, according to the release.

Mitchell Harrison, sales director at Altenar, said the experience shows the value of flexibility when expanding beyond casino. He said the aim is not simply to add a sports betting function but to create an offer that supports the operator's brand, audience and growth plans.

Harrison added that for companies initially focused on casino, the right approach combines customisation, local market expertise and a solid technical base. He said Altenar's flexible platform lets operators adapt their product to these priorities, connect casino with sports betting and evolve as their strategies change.
