Virginia governor reappoints Kevin Hall as lottery executive director
Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger reappointed Kevin Hall as executive director of the Virginia Lottery. Hall previously held the role from 2018 to 2022 and returns after four years in the private sector. Spanberger has called for a dedicated gaming commission and said she will not support further gaming expansion without funding for one.
Hall’s return comes as Virginia considers shifting some gaming oversight from the lottery to a dedicated commission.
