VICI agrees to buy Alberta casino real estate for CAD200.6m
VICI said it agreed to acquire real estate behind three Alberta casino venues and two adjacent hotels for CAD200.6m, linked to PURE’s planned buyout of Gamehost. The transaction is expected to close by mid-2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, and would add CAD16.1m to annual rent under VICI’s lease with PURE.
The proposed acquisition would change the ownership and lease arrangements for casino properties in Alberta.
