The Court of King's Bench of Alberta issued a final order approving Indigenous Gaming Partners' acquisition of Gamehost, after shareholders backed the deal on 11 June. The cash offer values each share at CAD13.65, and the transaction was expected to close before the end of June, according to the report.

Gaming & Leisure Properties chief executive Peter Carlino said on the company’s 31 July second-quarter earnings call that regional gaming demand remained strong. GLPI executives said they had made no commitments to invest in infrastructure for Bally’s Las Vegas and were noncommittal about potential deals linked to other casino assets.
Evolution’s board advised shareholders against accepting Candle Lake’s takeover bid. Directors said the SEK695-per-share offer undervalues Evolution, while its shares traded at approximately SEK833.
