Veikkaus said its latest restructuring will eliminate 15 roles and create 17 positions across two business units, its Data & AI division and finance teams. Discussions on affected roles and new appointments are expected to last about three weeks as the operator prepares for Finland’s planned market opening in July 2027.

Fennica Gaming has launched its games in Italy with Brightstar Lottery, in Ontario with Betty Gaming and in the Netherlands with Gaming1’s Circus.nl, the company said. The Italian launch covers its eInstant portfolio, while the Ontario deployment is its first in that market; Fennica said it had previously received a B2B licence there.

Fennica Gaming has launched online casino games on Flutter Entertainment’s Sisal platform in Italy, marking its entry into the market. The companies said the titles are delivered through a direct technical integration, without an intermediary aggregator.
Veikkaus will deploy Neccton’s latest AI-based responsible-gambling system across its digital and physical channels in Finland, the company said. Developed by OpenBet, the platform identifies risk indicators in real time and supports tailored interventions. The move follows Finland’s new Gambling Act, which requires operators to identify and address signs of risky gambling behaviour early.
