Veikkaus reports €234.2m H1 profit as it prepares for lottery licence payment
Veikkaus reported H1 2026 profit of €234.2m, up 2% year on year, and said it will pay about €1bn for a ten-year exclusive lottery licence in Finland. The payment is front-loaded during 2026, according to the company, while Finland's online betting and iGaming market is due to open to competition on 1 July 2027.
