Spain’s government considers new routes for proposed gambling-ad reforms

Regulation

Spain’s government is considering using an amendment to another bill or introducing a separate bill to pursue proposed gambling-sector changes, reportedly after Congress rejected the measures. The proposals include restrictions on advertising and promotions, including a ban on promotions for new customers and limits for people with verified accounts open for at least 30 days.

Operators may face renewed legislative proposals on gambling advertising and customer promotions.
