Spain’s Consumer Ministry fines EBR Management €750,000 over unauthorised raffle

Enforcement & compliance

Spain’s Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and Agenda 2030 imposed a €750,000 fine on EBR Management SLU for running a vehicle raffle without authorisation, according to the ministry. The company’s appeal was rejected; the ministry said 376,850 entries were sold for €1 each. The influencer identified in reports said the penalty was against the company, not him, and denied owning it.

The decision clarifies the enforcement risk for companies running prize draws without the required gambling authorisation.
