Spain and Andalusia renew Mijas gambling training centre agreement for four years
Spain’s education ministry and the Andalusian government published a new agreement governing the Mijas centre’s role as a National Reference Centre for accommodation, catering and gambling, reportedly on 1 September 2026. The agreement runs for four years, with an option to extend for a further four; the ministry will fund national activities and Andalusia will cover staffing and maintenance.
The agreement sets the centre’s gambling-industry training functions and allocates responsibility for its funding and operating costs.
