SkyCity secures rights to apply for two New Zealand online casino licences
SkyCity Entertainment Group secured rights to apply for two online casino licences in New Zealand, according to a Tuesday company filing. Each right costs NZ$15 million, and Forsyth Barr estimates the online business could contribute about 5% of group pre-overhead EBITDA once fully operational; the rights do not themselves confirm licence approval.
The application rights could lead to a new regulated online channel for SkyCity in New Zealand.
