SEC sues Lottery.com and former executives over alleged revenue scheme
The SEC filed a lawsuit on 22 January 2026 against Lottery.com, former chief executive Lawrence Anthony DiMatteo, former executives Matthew Clemenson and Ryan Dickinson, and Trident Acquisitions Corp chief executive Vadim Komissarov. The SEC alleges that sham transactions inflated revenue before and after Lottery.com’s merger with a special-purpose acquisition company, including a purported $30 million advertising-credit sale. The agency is seeking to bar Clemenson and Dickinson from public-company leadership roles and recover alleged profits, interest and possible civil penalties.
The case could affect Lottery.com and the former executives through restrictions, repayment and potential civil penalties.
