Salvador court restricts betting advertising at Bahia São João events
A judge at Salvador’s 6th Public Treasury Court has imposed interim restrictions on betting-company advertising at São João events across Bahia, according to reports. Logos may appear on screens and panels only from 22:00; advertising at children’s events is prohibited, and public-funded musicians may not promote betting. Bahia had not filed a defence and had not been notified of the decision at the time of publication.
