São Paulo government signs lottery concession with SP Loterias
The São Paulo government signed a 15-year lottery concession contract with SP Loterias SPE on 2 January, the report said. The consortium, led by Brightstar Lottery with Scientific Games, paid the fixed grant amount after the previous winning consortium failed to pay its R$600 million offer and was disqualified in May 2025.
The contract sets the consortium’s obligations to operate lottery services and invest in São Paulo over 15 years.
