Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs said its Omsk branch is investigating police colonel Dmitry Nagibin over alleged bribes from owners of illegal gambling businesses. The ministry said Nagibin and other employees were taken into custody and the case was referred to prosecutors; it alleges the payments were made between December 2021 and April 2025 in return for failing to curb illegal gambling.
