Russian Duma approves bill to shorten illegal gambling site review to two days
Russia’s State Duma approved a bill in its second and third readings to speed up the blocking of unauthorised online gambling sites. The measure reduces the Federal Tax Service’s review period for referrals from five working days to two; the information can then be sent for listing and blocking by internet providers.
The shorter review period could reduce the time illegal gambling sites remain accessible after authorities identify them.
