Russian court prepares trial of 17 accused illegal gambling operators

A Russian court is due to try 17 people accused of running four illegal gambling clubs in Perm and Krasnokamsk, according to prosecutors cited in a report published on 3 March 2026. Prosecutors allege the operations ran from September 2022 to December 2024 and provided online gambling facilities to selected patrons. Three defendants are in custody, three are under house arrest and the others have been released on bail.
