Polymarket withdraws interim request as Italy’s block remains in force

Enforcement & compliance

Polymarket withdrew its request for interim suspension of the Italian blocking order in a filing to the Lazio Regional Administrative Court on 19 August 2026, reportedly leaving the order in effect. ADM had ordered 293 new domains blocked on 10 July, with connectivity providers required to complete the process by 27 July. The company may still pursue its main case over the legality of ADM’s decision.

Polymarket’s Italian block remains in effect, though the company may continue its main case challenging the decision.
