PlayCity tenders software to block military personnel from gambling

Tenders & awards

Ukraine’s gambling regulator PlayCity launched a tender to develop a software module that will block military personnel from accessing gambling features. The system is intended to check military status through the Trembita data-sharing system without disclosing that status to operators; the Ministry of Defense aims to implement it by 24 December 2026.

The procurement could require licensed operators and venues to deny gambling access to people identified as serving military personnel.
