Play'n GO launches Wrappin' More Gold slot with three Collect & Win bonuses

Play'n GO announced the release of Wrappin' More Gold, a five-reel, 20-payline video slot set in Ancient Egypt. The company said the game is already available. The title centres on three Collect & Win features built around a mummy that grows during bonus rounds, increasing the area from which it collects prizes.

The setting draws on Egyptian mythology, with golden pyramids, ancient temples, scarabs and the Duat, the realm of the dead. The narrative follows the pharaoh Khufu, whose search for celestial treasures opened a rift between worlds and scattered red, green and purple gems across the sky, the fortresses and the underworld. Queen Cleo and Ptolemy oppose his plans.

Three coloured containers sit above the reels to collect Scatter Gems of the matching colour, and two chests accumulate Bonus Spins symbols and Wilds respectively. A Scatter Gem Collect & Win can trigger one of the three rounds, as can a Mummy symbol on the first reel together with at least one Scatter Gem Collect & Win. Up to three containers can be active at the same time.

Each Collect & Win round begins with five spins and a mummy of 2×2 size that collects coins and gems appearing within its area. As gems fill the dedicated meter, the mummy grows, extending its collection area until it can cover the whole grid, and its growth can return additional spins to the round. The three modes differ through larger play grids, Extra Spins gems that award additional spins, 2× and 3× multipliers applied to the mummy's collection area, and Double Coins and Double Gems symbols that double the value of coins and gems respectively.

At least three Bonus Spins symbols award six bonus spins, with further activations adding three spins each up to a maximum of 33. During this mode the chances of triggering Collect & Win and Instant Bonus features also increase. Wilds substitute for all symbols except Scatter Gems, Bonus Spins symbols and Mummy symbols, and a Wild can activate the Instant Bonus in the base game and during Bonus Spins. That feature is a selection round with 15 mystery symbols in which the prize is determined by the first three matching symbols found.

A GO Ultra mode starts Collect & Win with three extra gems already in the progress meter and increases the chances of triggering the feature during Bonus Spins. Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play'n GO, said the collection features work best when progress is immediately visible, and that in Wrappin' More Gold the mummy is both the element that collects prizes and the clearest indicator of how the round is developing.
