ELA Games launches Soul Fiesta slot with Hold & Win mechanic

ELA Games announced the launch of Soul Fiesta, a high-volatility slot that the company said takes players on a spirit-train journey between the world of the living and the afterlife. The game is inspired by Día de los Muertos, and a demo version is available on ELA Games' official site, the company said.

The central Hold & Win mechanic brings in four ghost trains from the spirit world, each with its own modifier that acts on the grid, according to ELA Games. The bonus starts with three rows locked, which can be unlocked through special Unlock symbols; completing the full grid summons the Golden Train and opens the chance to win one of four Jackpots, the company said.

Yaroslav Soloshenko, of ELA Games, said the game uses a familiar Día de los Muertos setting with a dynamic pace and lively animations in the studio's style. He said the Hold & Win features, particularly the unlocking of hidden rows to reach the Golden Train, create a natural progression that helps player retention, and that the company's data shows games with these multi-level mechanics produce reliable results in the market.
