Oregon players placed $8.4 million in Super Bowl wagers through Oregon Lottery’s DraftKings Sportsbook, the lottery said. The wagers generated more than $1.3 million in revenue, and the lottery recorded more than 450,000 bets at an average of $18.30.
The figures give Oregon’s lottery and sportsbook operators a measure of Super Bowl wagering and revenue.

Kalshi and other prediction-market platforms are offering contracts on Super Bowl outcomes to California users, according to the report. It says trading on Super Bowl-related contracts reached hundreds of millions of dollars, while California officials and tribal gaming interests object to the platforms operating outside state gambling oversight.
Maryland Lottery and Gaming urged Maryland residents on 30 January to use licensed operators for Super Bowl and other sports wagers. The agency said the state has 12 licensed online sportsbooks and 14 registered online fantasy competition operators; it reported that the legal sports wagering programme has generated nearly $256 million in state funding since December 2021.
CME Group filed to self-certify multi-leg Super Bowl event contracts with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which oversees prediction markets, according to the filing described in the report. The contracts could become available on DraftKings and FanDuel platforms, with availability dependent on the filing process and the intended offering date.
DraftKings sports operations director Johnny Avello said the Chicago Bears moved from +1400 to +1200 in Super Bowl futures after trading for Jeffery Simmons on 29 October. After Chicago’s 34-17 win over Seattle on 2 November, the Bears stood at +750, behind the San Francisco 49ers at +550 and Buffalo Bills at +600.
Robinhood has added sports and entertainment event contracts ahead of Super Bowl LX, including markets on game periods, team totals, halftime performances and advertisements. A company representative said the newly added Super Bowl derivatives are Kalshi contracts; Robinhood expects to add more during the week.
