Norway ministry proposes regulated online poker for Norsk Tipping

Regulation

Norway’s Ministry of Culture and Equality opened a consultation on a proposal allowing state-owned Norsk Tipping to offer online poker. Proposed controls include daily and monthly loss limits, restricted buy-ins, mandatory tournament breaks, a four-table maximum and a 15-minute pause before moving to online casino games.

The proposal could add online poker to Norsk Tipping’s regulated offer under specified player-protection controls.
