Norway’s Lotteritilsynet explains bingo-hall surplus access for charities

Source: Lotteritilsynet (Norway)

Norway’s Lotteritilsynet says pre-approved voluntary organisations can ask a bingo operator to receive a share of bingo-hall surplus through an assisted-bingo arrangement. Organisations need approval to run gambling before applying for a permit, and the approval fee is 2,000 kroner; payments from bingo halls are made four times a year, while Belago terminal surplus is paid twice yearly.

The guidance sets the approval, fee and payment conditions for charities seeking bingo-related surplus.
