New Zealand DIA opens first stage for 15 online casino licences
New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs will open expressions of interest for online casino licences on 17 July, according to a report. The government plans to issue up to 15 licences; applications for the first stage are due by 14 August at 11:59pm NZT. Only applicants passing that stage can enter the subsequent licence auction.
Operators must meet the first-stage requirements by the stated deadline to qualify for the licence auction.
