New Jersey requires public colleges to host gambling awareness sessions
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed a law requiring public colleges, universities and community colleges to host the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey at least once per semester. The sessions must provide information on gambling risks, support services and self-exclusion tools.
Public colleges must arrange recurring gambling-harm education and support for students.
