Ohio’s regulated sports betting market recorded $800.1m in handle in April, reportedly. The figure was down 1% from the comparison period, while revenue grew.
Sports betting in Illinois rose 1% to $1.17 billion in February, driven by higher online betting, according to the report.
Tennessee’s sports betting handle reached $5.87bn in 2025, a 10.6% increase from $5.30bn in 2024, according to a market report. It said the state’s lifetime handle exceeded $20.4bn by the end of 2025; the report also described Tennessee as having no regulated online slots, table games or peer-to-peer poker.
Oregon’s sports betting market recorded $926.9 million in wagers and $115.8 million in revenue in 2025, according to the report. The state’s online gambling market consists of sports betting and lottery products; online casino slots and table games remain prohibited, and DraftKings is the sole mobile sports wagering app authorised through the Oregon Lottery.
A Quaest poll found that 16% of respondents who were optimistic about Brazil's future cited regulation of betting and social media as a source of hope under President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. That group represented 44% of respondents, making the combined issue about 7% of the full sample; the poll did not separate betting from social-media regulation. The survey interviewed 2,004 people from 30 October to 2 November.
