Regulation

New Jersey's 28 active online casino skins reported $271 million in gaming revenue in June, 17.5% more than a year earlier and 5.4% above the $257.3 million recorded by Atlantic City's nine casinos. Online gaming generated $60.4 million in state tax revenue, while total gaming taxes reached $91.7 million. The state casino regulator's chair said Atlantic City's June result was its second-highest in 14 years.

The figures show online casinos generated more revenue and tax than Atlantic City's land-based properties in June.
