New York’s Gaming Commission reported that the state’s eight online sportsbooks generated $214.4 million in gross gaming revenue in July from $1.88 billion in wagers. The 11.4% hold lifted revenue 83.5% from June, while the state collected about $109.3 million in tax.

New York mobile sports wagering recorded $2.25bn in June, its highest monthly total since launch, according to the report. The figure was 37% higher than in June a year earlier.
New York lawmakers proposed bills A10526 and S10470 to prohibit mobile sports wagers from people located on college campuses. The measures would require operators and platform providers to use geolocation technology, with colleges supplying campus boundary data to the state gaming commission. The bills did not advance to a floor vote in the 2026 regular session and would need to be reintroduced next year unless considered in a special session.
Michigan operators recorded $346.13m in July online casino and sports betting revenue, according to MGCB figures released on 18 August and. The total increased 1.4% from June, comprising $302.77m from online casinos and $43.36m from online sports betting. Sports betting handle fell 3% to $355.2m.
Louisiana casinos recorded July revenue of $212.5m, a 7% annual increase, citing the Louisiana Gaming Control Board. Sports betting generated $36m in revenue on $280m in handle. Lake Charles recorded the highest district revenue at $76.8m, up 5.9%.
Pennsylvania casinos recorded July revenue of $591m, a 6% annual increase, according to PGCB figures. Hollywood Casino at Penn National recorded $111.5m, rising 7.7%, while Valley Forge Casino Resort generated $103.4m, up 16.3%.
