New Brunswick introduces Bill 8 to regulate live dealer casino games
New Brunswick Finance Minister René Legacy introduced Bill 8 on 27 October to let the province regulate online live dealer casino games through Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC), the government said. The bill would not add operators beyond ALC; lawmakers advanced it to the Standing Committee on Economic Policy on 3 November for further discussion.
The bill could establish a regulated route for live dealer games through ALC without expanding the number of operators.
